OK, so far I am really enjoying doing graphics and digital stuff. My only problem is getting a good technique. I got a book that I hope will help me with this but it is mostly for character design and painting and not really for digitally painting horses. While I am more than halfway though this book and much of it is VERY useful it still isn't really what I need for my NFL Project or any other horse painting projects.

I am in some desperate need of some guidence! How do you people get your horses to look so real!? I know that it comes with time and experience, but what is your method? What is your technique? Please share your genious with me! I want so badly for my art to look real, not real bad and flat.

The only "digital painting" I've done of a horse was my Cowboys piece and that was sheer luck that it turned out as ok as it did.
